I started this blog during the pandemic, but the idea came to me long before anyone had ever heard of COVID-19, social distancing, or Dr. Fauci. Back then, people still called to ask this employment lawyer:

Can my boss make me come to work? I would love to work from home.

People have been working from home for a very long time. Employers have long faced challenges and opportunity in managing remote employees. But today, it’s getting more complicated. As many white collar employees have spent two years successfully working from home, employees are questioning the premise that we do better when we are together, physically, in a building far away from anyone’s house. They are having a moment. They are having their say. How will you respond?
